Update on Solo Queue?
It's been a few weeks since Lyte announced that Solo Queue would be returning. Can somebody please update us on Solo Queue's status? Could we possibly get a release date by any chance?

Yeah...Soloq will return in a few weeks they said...And now?Not even a single word about it:)
Riot is following the same pattern other game's that fail do; they try to force you to play how they want you to play, instead of embracing how you want to play the game. Apparently Ranked teams just wasn't doing as well as they'd like, so they just remove solo Q and force you to play vs teams to either get stomped or learn to find teammates. And then, they make it even worse by refusing to add VOIP to make the transition less frustrating. Most people here have played something like CS:Go, where you will face 5 man teams and squads in ranked. Except, the only disadvantage you are at, is cohesion. You both have the same communication abilities. You dont have that right now in dynamic. You are facing 3-5 man teams on Skype, while your only means of communication chat and pings. Meanwhile, everytime I tune into the LCS, I have to hear "shot-calling" 500000 times, yet, you have no means of shotcalling anything in game without knowing 5 people and being on skype with them.
But again, Riot is making the age-old mistake of forcing players to play what they feel is better, when its not. Its also dirty as hell that they bundle in the new champ/role select to make it seem like people like Dynamic more than they do, when in reality they only like the champ select. It reminds me of when the US banned online poker gambling. They bundled in the ban with some law pertaining to babies, so it auto-passed. They bundle in a good champ/role select with a piss poor mode to make it look better than it is. Hopefully they lose a ton of money and players because of this and learn their lesson.
IMHO solo queue is dead. There is no way you can solo climb unless you are very lucky to get bad enemy teams.
I myself have experienced this since the Dynamic Queue was implemented. No matter how well you think you know you can play a champ, there is no guarantee that the enemy team won't outplay you.
I am also watching pro players on stream, they also had no chance of solo climbing so they were forced to party with other pro players.

It doesn't give any dates, probably because they didn't know enough to give us dates. Crazy, I know. He says they planned on it being released within two months of its announcement, but then the dynamic queue broke and required more work than expected.
This might be hard for some people to grasp, but they will tell us about it when they decide to. They won't release it without telling us, and they won't not release it. Be patient.
We need an update!!
The extensive testing they need to do on solo Q is actually removing the new rewards system from it to ensure it fails, the fact it takes longer is just a bonus to them.
So with other words, me trying to solo climb ranked DQ is just a waste of time? :< Bu´´Nice, wish I had known this before I pored down like a 100 hrs of game time into it.
Solo que isnt happening friend. Its just a bandaid they put on the game so people wouldnt instantly quit after the nightmare that is dynamic que was shoved down our throats. Dont hold your breath if you expect it to be here by even April, if not May. That is if they even are of their word, which im starting to doubt with how Riot has been lately. Riot please bring back soloQ and I shall be happy. Do it w/o the never-getting-mid-if-I-queue-up-as-mid-and-support two roles preferance and I will love you again.

If they ever do bring it out I truly hope they implement a hard reset on true solo q. Otherwise the rankings would be no different to the dynamic q rankings. E.g., challenger players placing in Plat 1 with other challenger players even going 0-10 in placements and the hell hole of plat and diamonds that will be placed in silver.
Even then 'true solo q' would be a matter of if you have bad/good teammates and vice versa. In essence, your rank in true solo q would be a majority percent of luck than it is based on individual skill.
Riot should instead release a 1v1 ranked ladder.
