How to get out of Plat on solo/duo

Hello everyone. I play on EUNE and I've been stuck in Platinum for as long as I can remember. I main top lane, primarily I play tanks but I can play all sorts of champions. Thing is, no matter how well I play I simply can't progress more than plat 2-3. I often lose games where I play really good. For example, yesterday I had a great start on top I was 4/0/0 as Olaf during laning phase and enemy Shaco (jg) was 1-10-2 at the end and he won the game. I try really hard to win, I even encourage people after a mistake and try not to flame, but often it is just not enough. I'm just tired of seeing people whom I've basically destroyed on the lane, write ''ez'' as their team carries them. I've played tournaments and I am pretty certain I can handle Diamond players really well, but I would really like to progress more. My question is, are there any tips you can give me? What champion do you think is the best to get out of Platinum? Any sort of feedback is welcome, thanks!

The first thing I want to say is that people should not always want to climb infinitely. It's my personal opinion but raising in rank doesn't get you anything but more difficult enemies (with only the Gold V achievement of gaining a victorious skin at the end of the season.

Yet I understand if players still want to have a higher rank than they currently are in. I'm affraid that too many players don't play league for fun and instead only for winning. That's the point when game becomes sport. If people write ez at the end of a game, even though "deserved" or not, just report them, nobody needs them in the game, even if they're allies. They won't get perma banned but will get chat ban and hopefully just reform. Don't let yourself get down by this.

My tips are based around playing for fun. Don't ask what champions are "good for climbing". They also constantly change due to meta, you could also ask what position is best to climb. Play what you want to play, what you have fun with. Nearly everything works everywhere, but off-meta comes with (much) more efford for the same results. You have to ask yourself: Is it more important to have that diamond boarder or is it more important to have fun playing the game? You get to play against Diamonds even as Platinum player if your MMR is equal to that of said diamonds. So if you just want to play against better enemies, that isn't necessarily bind to your rank. I've played diamonds even as gold player on a regular basis. It's harder to win but it's definately possible.

Dude it's a shit elo it's the best hell in all divisions.. those who are good and climb up to plat 1 promo games get trolled by idiots from diamond 4 ... i went through 3 promo series and failed 3 times already so i am done with this shit elo all my promo games are with positive score playing great even beating diamond players in their main champions on mid , its pointless to try again i will take a break Plat = HELL..
