How the new blue essence system works

I'm here to explain the psychology of it.

If you play like 50 games while getting like 60 IP each, then yeah, you'll feel that you're progressing even if it's very slowly.

However, if you get 1500 IP every 25 games, then you feel you're progressing a lot slower since there's no progress at all, you just get it in a short burst. Now since you're progressing slower, you'll obviously wanna progress faster towards your goal. How do you do that?

Buying RP.

Of course, we get more blue essence in this system, but Riot will also get more money. Also, it's not even guaranteed that we're getting more BE, Riot just claims it.
