This is pathetic, I have been waiting for more than an hour, near to 20 queues evaded, and I havent been able to play. What an awful experience, there is not enough penalty for recurring evaders, the penalty should be proportional to the number of times they have evaded in the season. Another reason of toxicity in this game. This should be adressed

But I'm not going up against a one trick who's played that position addictively since the new champ select was released. I'm not only at a sizeable disadvantage. But I'm also in a meh mindset, because "FUCK WHY ME!!!".
And I'm not having someone auto filled into my main position either only to get stomped by a one trick.

I have been living in Autofill land since it's been implemented (even before it was globalized) and can tell you with 100% certainty that autofill ignores both primary and secondary roles of the other players on your team. If you get designated as going to be autofilled this game, you will be assigned to a random position that is not one of the two you picked, and the rest of the team will be built around that. This means, for example, a top lane main can get autofilled into support/adc/whatever, while a top secondary can take top, or someone can even get autofilled top. It's really not uncommon for an adc player to get autofilled top and the top player to get autofilled to adc. It happens all the time and I bet if you could see the roles that people queued up with in the champion lobby, people would be like "WTF?" more times than not because of how little it makes sense.
With that said, I get my primary more often than not, and surprisingly only rarely get autofilled (queued as mid/jungle) but I'm not blind about how broken autofill is. It's all about achieving some quotas just like how the matchmaking system tries to force your winrate to be 50%. It tries to autofill just for the sake of autofilling, and doesn't respect the roles available on the team at all.

Rarely do i carry unless I'm autofilled top/mid when I'm sick of waiting and pick a juggernaut or utility mage.
I don't mind playing those positions as I can play passively and in 3/4 of my preferences I can pick a tanky champion.
But shove me in adc, a position I never play unless I have to, and I will lose lane, I will mis position and I will be inferior in every way to my opponent. This isn't intended. I simply focus on refining my jungle, support and top lane as I like tanky champs. Not the 2 roles where I'm squishy af

However whenever I miss 2 games in queue (either someone doesn't accept or dodges the game) I cancel queue which basically forces the system to find someone else to fill in my spot which adds time to the other 8 people's queue time.

PhDs Nuts5 votesThe client is too garbage for them to increase dodge penalties, or they'll have to reset the dodge timer daily. A lot of people would get hammered when the client freezes/crashes in/after champ select.
