Who counters tryndamere top?

Tryndamere has among the worst lanning phases in LoL.

His early game is so bad he's actually pretty garbage in Dominion, and that map is nothing but duels and 2v2 engagements that most fighters excel in.

Play your cards OK and you can beat Trynd in lane with any champion.

The biggest thing to keep in mind when dealing with him yourself is 3 things though:

1. Never let him build Fury.

A Trynd without Fury only has 25 more AD to his name, max - which AD Janna exceed with the +50 AD from her shield. He can't win trades without his crit chance steroid (outside of maybe level 1). Tryndamere's sustain is set up wholly on spending fury to get health. If you never let him build fury in the first place, he can never sustain any damage he takes. Once Trynd gets fury he can also crit things more reliably to get more fury, which makes that a little snowbally. If he has no crit he also can't crit things to get fury, so if you keep him down it's easy to keep him down.

2. Never let him build fury.

Also, Trynd starts out strong with 2 AA steroids, making his level 1 actually pretty solid. Champions average ~40 damage per level via abilities though, and Trynd basically doesn't have damaging abilities. His small AA edge early will be quickly eclipsed - just don't pick a fight at 1.

3. Never let him build Fury.

Finally - 100% of his damage output is physical, and probably 90% of that is physical auto-attacks. Tryndamere scales way harder with pure damage than basically everyone, because things like crit, life steal, AS, AD, and armor pen cause all of his damage to increase. That comes with the dissadvantage that Warden's Mail, Randuin's Omen, Ninja Tabi, Frozen Heart, and Thornmail are 100% effective against his damage output as well though. Trying to out AD adventures Trynd is not smart, especially when you can essentially AFK kill him with Thornmail. Or heck, even Sunfire Cape.
