Well i just played a game as tryndamere mid vs yasuo and they thought i was a troll. I didnt do amazingly good but not bad either. I wanted to know what do u guys think about it?

Melee carry mids tend to only work if they're Yasuo or Master Yi, or if you actually know how the matchup works. For example, Xin Zhao dominates most mid laners that rely on DPS or normally excel in extended fights because his numbers are simply better than them past level 4 or so.

Tryndamere laughs at all burst mages and Assassins that whose power spikes are post 6. If it was a matchup of, for example, Trynd vs Talon, it could work.

Theoretically, every champion with a significant means of threatening their opponent quickly can play midlane. Garen mid for example can take on most melee champions, especially since his Q and W can debilitate their combos if they ever choose to fight back.

If only there was a third option like "In certain situations".

yasuo gets shit on by melees in general. that's why you won lane.

trynd is bad against casters in general

Trynd is a pretty decent champ IMO. Jungle/Mid/Top he is fine. Unless you are plat+ you can honestly get good with any champion and play it any role.

Situational, Xin Zhao mid apparently counters Diana mid. That being said, I wouldn't condone a Xin Zhao mid under any other circumstances honestly. Same with Trynd, I'm sure he has his mid lane matchups, but I wouldn't condone it without it being one of those matchups.
