Alistar and his passive.

I honestly think that Alistar's passive is very lack luster. Call me old fashioned but I like to play him as a mostly tanky support, but with his passive scaling off ap it makes it seem kinda useless. I'm not saying that I want it to do a lot of damage, but it's damage is incredibly minuscule, so I was wondering what if you were to make it scale off health or armor, because overall it kinda just makes sense considering that he's supposed to be a damage soaking tank.

Try building Liandry's on him and think of him as an AP support. You start to do plenty of damage in team fights.

In all honesty, I think him as more of a tanky laner. His specification is not support. It is tank. So, in a solo lane, you can very effectively push a wave with just one ability if you've built even a minor amount of ap.
