It's a very bad word used to describe homosexual people in some languages. It's the worst thing you can call a homosexual person.

"Ped" is an uncommonly used slang for pedophile, so that might be it.
But the term Shakespeare used was "petals of a rose." Not pedals.
I think backpedal is one word.
Let me Enlighten you, my English speaking friends.
It's because in Polish (aka Kurwa-language) "pedał" is very negative form for homosexual guy and we often write without our special signs so " ł " is " l ". Thats why they censored it.
