Embrace New Dynamic Queue

I didn't have a chance to play dynamic queue until today, and the experience was great, majority of everyone was being neighborly and showing good sportsmanship overall. I'm highly disappointed with the people in this board for bashing this new champ select.

A while ago, when Riot first initially announced Teambuilder ranked system, I was a bit skeptical. For what I was understanding based on the current Teambuilder, I questioned how we can get bans and fair system and getting the champion I wanted (hence the purpose of teambuiler).

And today, I've experienced a COMPROMISE that answered all my questions. Once again, I state this is a COMPROMISE. It means that it does not necessarily reach 100% satisfaction in ALL surfaces from an expectation of picking the champion or owning all the rights to ban. This new champ select gives a fair system to all players from initally picking the roles they desire to having the right to ban accordingly. Also, they gave us a pre-banning champion phase, where we can flash the champions that we intend to play as some extra form of communication (in case most people are TOO LAZY TO TYPE OUT or TOO DISTRACTEDE TO READ).

My compliments: System looks good, neat, and understandable. The system is fair, functional and exceeded my expectations.

My feedback: Takes too long. I understand this is a form of draft pick, and draft pick is long, but I think we can cut down the pre-banning phase. Also, my friend was playing this and he encountered a few people that initially asked "how many of you are premade". He answered 4 and that person left (We assume). I think if we can do something about this, that'd be grand. Also, say if I'm a solo player and I get matched up with 4 premade. If they wanted to surrender and it's one of me against 4 of them, can my vote be counted as 2 and negate the 4 votes? Looking at all the rants from board, maybe provide some comfortable features that benefit solo players.

Conclusion: While Teambuiler provides a safe pick for the champion you want, it does not have a banning option and almost similar to this new champ selection. Maybe this new champ select can adjust a thing or two according to the prior teambuilder mode, but having two modes just won't have enough players. If you want a fast game, there's always blind pick. But if you want to pick the champ you want, or having a chance to play the role you desire, it should takes more time (only for fairness to other players as well.)

I know people keep bringing up the 4 v 1 issue on surrender votes, but is it really that common? I like playing with 4 friends (have not done so with the new system yet, just normals) but I don't like surrendering. Often only one or two of us want to surrender (in games that might want it) because we can often fight it out.

You miss the point entirely. The problem isn't the existence of the new draft mode. The problem is teambuilder got removed because of it.

I'm aware of many threads asking teambuilder to stay. But with teambuilder and dynamic queue both exist (at least for the time being), there won't be many players for the system to seek and cut down finding time. Plus both systems have too many similar features.

Queue times were fine before teambuilder got removed.
