Be intimidated and held back from reporting someone? Don't be!

I literally just witnessed a QQ thread of somebody whom my friend reported under Verbal Abuse (there's always more than that), so that inspired me to write this post. I think he's got what he deserved; so I do encourage people who feel like you've been disrespected or abused in game to report those people to the system.

Personally, my friends and I report someone who disrespect their opponents, teammates, or causing verbal ruckus in general (we also report afks and occasionally others, but that's not the major reason from this topic).

Many many many times I've seen those verbal abusers threaten or try to discourage players to not reporting them by saying "stop being a baby" or "lmao, lol, look at this guy, so sensitive", etc. Do not be intimidated by that! If anything, those will be evidence when the system review chat logs.

The scenario of that guy who got banned was because he kept talking in all chat for no reason, and after we asked him to stop talking nicely, he said the exact same things: how am i being disrespectful this, why are you so sensitive that, etc. Those are the messed up mentality that the toxic players expect from all players to bottle up all their negativity and deal with it alone so they can feel the power, being high and mighty.

I'll admit sometimes I myself flash those mastery emotes at people or laugh/taunt whenever I dodged an ability and such, but I know the intentions of them aren't good moral, so I stopped. Most people won't admit, or worse, don't even know what they're doing are wrong or disrespectful, and when you tried to tell them to stop, it just made them want to do even more. Never think reporting or confronting them won't help; those types of players needed to be corrected. I think it's counted as cyberbullying, so don't hesitate to report them to the system.

If you're one of those players who like to flame/be taunting, teasing or simply doing what you want to do to feel virtually powerful, I highly recommend checking back to see if what you're doing is right. What would be your reaction if some1 did that to you. Don't drag other people down just to please yourself.
