Blitzcrank Recommended Items
Please change it to Relic Shield. I can' tell you how many Bronze/Silver people roll Blitz only to miss every hook and effectively be completely worthless in bottom lane.

You only go relic shield on blitz if you're trying to sustain better during lane phase.
The problem though is you don't get the gold per/5 as opposed to coin and miss out on mana regen with the talisman active.
Having them buy relic shield is not gonna magically make them useful for playing blitz.
Talisman is just really a better item than FotM. If you're gonna upgrade to any item, it should be Talisman. Really though, you're better off grabbing a doran's ring and selling it when you need the inventory space, because the mana regen coin gives is pathetic and the gold is negligible.
I guess part of my frustration is that people who don't play support try it or get stuck with it at these ranks, and they literally have no impact in the game at all. I just spent 30 minutes reminding this blitz to ward because he was never doing it. No wards usually means no clutch pulls.
Logic of Ancient Coin v Relic shield being equal to bad hooks does not make sense.
I prefer Ancient coin over relic shield most of the time. Unless I'm not mana based which is rare. Prefer spellthief for high poke supports. I also rarely ever build the whole item. Just the first part of the recipe. If I do it's last but usually I sell it for another item anyway because I'm getting mega assists.
You may be getting noob supports that don't know what they are doing or don't realize the importance of wards or it could just be someone in a normal looking to have fun. If everyone on the team bought and maintained 1 pink ward you guys would be golden so try to contribute as well. And help point out the importance of wards.
Now a Blitz not hitting his q's that sucks but its a skill shot like any other one and sometimes they hit sometimes they miss. Sometimes people need practice.
Stupid, I hate blitz they run Shield, shouldn't need to run in melee range and take poke just for the gold. Coin is a far better item on blitz, free gold income while you stand back for the hook or stand in front to zone. Also the Coin late game move speed for team is super good on blitz, you can chase anyone down and just use your E while they zigzag trying to predict your Q.

go pure mana build, anything with mana, it's hilarious when the enemy drops your HP down and just when they try to land the final blow BOOM, up pops your mana shield bringing you back to max HP XD
My point is this. Nearly all bottom lanes need sustain. He is still getting gold with the Relic Shield Proc, tankier with the stats, and providing needed sustain for the ADC. I've seen far too many noobs blitzcranks rush talisman to accomplish nothing.
