like the other people have said, the order you win your games is important. Winning early is better for placing higher. So if you win 5 in a row, then lose 5 in a row you will (almost certainly) place higher than if you lost your first 5 and then won the next 5.
Honestly just from my experience this season, I'd say you'll have a tough time getting placed Silver 3 at this point. Even if you finish 6-4, with no previous ranking, I would be surprised if you got S3. It seems that this season has been pretty rough in terms of placements. For example, last season was the first season I ranked and I went 6-4 and got Silver 3. I climbed to Gold 4 by the end of last season which is where I finished. This season in my placements I went 5-5 and actually got placed lower (silver 5 or 4, I can't remember which) even though I should've only had a soft mmr-reset from last season. My roommate went from silver 4 last season to Bronze 2 this season with a 6-4 record, and I know a lot of people who went from silver to bronze with even or around even records. Not to say it's impossible you'll get Silver 3, it would just surprise me given that you've lost more of your early games. Good luck to you in any event
