How is nocturne currently?
is he strong, balanced weak, are their better picks than him? and what are some strong points that he has and some weak things in his kit?

I find he is weaker now as his clear is much worse for some reason. I think it was the change in jungle items splitting the starter in two. If i try to krugs, then red start, I get really close to dying and usually have to back then go to blue. Adcs are strong right now and he excels at killing isolated squishy targets in an instant from across the map, but getting the items to do so can take a while. He's better in longer games in a low elo. I would pick rengar over him any day, but I don't know rengar...
his ult is still invaluable, the rest of his kit is still lacking. still good in the early -> mid game tho thanks to his 1v1ing and spell shield capabilities.
late game, just ult and you can literally sneak any objective you want or force down an inhibitor and just back out safely after, that is crazy strong. dont even have to dive with it.
id rate him a 6/10 overall. where 5 is a good choice, and 10 is wow LCS meta. 1 is..... a champion that handicaps the team.
He's meh, his ult is pretty much his only value. However with teleport being so dominant, he's much less potent over junglers with faster clears and stronger ganks. While his ult is better than teleport, on a shorter cooldown, the issue is the impact he has once he's there, which is minimal compared to the junglers that are more consistently played currently.

SoloQ analys: Nocturn is opressive if ahead. Nocturn has nothing to change de pace of a game if your team is behind. So... If you only win when your team is tie or ahead, it means there is not much you can do 50% or so of the time. Conclusion, any other jungler pick would win the same games. Because you are totaly irelevant sub-6 you cant do much on this part of the game, if your team is behind... Oh well, nocturn won't change much. If they are ahead, well you could have afk they would win anyway. In teamfight, you can dive the backline... Ok, but if your team is behind, that ult wont change a fk in the fight unless you build super tanky. If you build tanky, why not dive the backline with kench? Do you see what i mean?
He's a slightly not as good version of Vi or Jarvan, which sucks because I like Nocturne :O
I think he's fine, to be honest. I love playing him as he is now ^_^...though I must say a slight buff would not hurt.
