All chat shortcut not working consistently; framerate tanking

Pressing shift and enter does not activate all chat like it should. FPS also keeps going from 60+ to 10-15 in a matter of seconds inconsistently.

I've had this problem as well. My FPS is fine, but the other day my shift + enter stopped bringing up all chat.

I encountered this bug on PBE and live. for the time being just quickly type nonsense, something like "sdsef" post it, and your all chat should work again.

I think what's happening is you will start typing in team chat intending to type in /all chat, you will undo what you wrote via backspace, and undo the chat. press enter, and then use the /all chat shortcut. When this happens i think that's what causes it to bug out.

shift enter stopped working for me recently as well. since 07/20/2019. would love to hear a solution. thanks!
