Rift Herald

So, kinda been thinking that Rift Herald should be more involved in the game. For any team to actually want to take it at they pretty much have to be at the enemy team inhibs before 18 ...just because it takes forever. I suggest a drop in the amount of time you have the buff along with a drop in health to make it a more contested buff.

Rift herald does feel all but useless. It takes rather long to take (longer than the elemental drakes), and is a one-person buff (which, while strong, encourages playing apart from the team). I forget it even exists half the time, unless I'm playing Kindred and it gets marked. In which case it just becomes an obnoxious obstacle to getting ahead.

I feel that the buff should apply to more than one person so it becomes more contested

in addition to lowering the health and lowering the uptime of the buff I feel that giving Rift Herald buff an additional effect... maybe 50% tenacity?

idk. I feel like 50% tenacity might work well...

50% tenacity+30% on boots+5/15% from masteries (I forgot the exact number) equals between 85 and 95% tenacity. That means that all CC against that target would last only between 5 and 15% of its original duration. Have any assassin take that stuff, and they'd be unstoppable, sacrificing only a portion of their damage (with the lack of TLD being the biggest drop). Imagine a Katarina that you physically can't lock down. Or an Akali. Or any other bursty champion in the game.

good point.

I kinda just was throwing a number out without thinking. And I totally didn't just wake up and go on boards while waiting for league to load, I swear

Hey. I'm just here to point out bad math. It's what I'm best at. :P

And don't worry. I've had ideas that hindsight showed me to be terrible. At least you haven't tried to no-smite Ashe jungle. :P

I did try to Smite-Ashe jungle though...

I actually did really well as a control jungler by letting my team know Exactly where the enemy LeeSin was at all times. I was able to counter-gank him with my Ult AND gank a lane at the same exact time.

My only problem was that I ran out of mana rather quickly so blue-buff was super important. I made sure to have it always warded with aitem 2055 in case lee stole it.

We ended up losing game though. Toplane took Jayce midlane was Talon botlane wasJanna Twitch

Nobody fed but we had no frontline against enemy top Darius and midAhri Their junglerLeeSin and their botlane Caitlyn Leona

So that's the only main problem with Ashe jg for the most part...

Ah, see, I was only level 11 or so. :^ )

I had no idea how to jungle in the slightest. I think I took summoner 7 and summoner 12, too. Gods, I was an idiot, back then.

I'll have to actually try that again. Seems like it could be fun. I'll just have to sacrifice something for mana regen quints…But that'd mean my lifesteal quints. D:

shrug I'll take a look. Sounds like you probably tilted that enemy Lee, though. XD

It's only really good on those that can be apart. Nasus, Riven, and most assassins are the only ones. But, on those people, it can be insanely strong, leading to absurd 1v5 wins. If it was weaker overall, but actually useful for everyone (exception of supports, who simply aren't meant to have damage, obviously) it'd probably be taken a lot more, especially in lower ELOs.

make it so that it gives the baron buff to creeps for 30 seconds and no buff too you.

and make it so it isen`t a suicide mission to take it with 2 people
