I was playing in ranked. I know she is nerfed but she is still strong. I was 9/3 with about 150 cs. Tahm is pushing lane. I decided to go defend since i am ahead with items. I was level 12 and the tahm level 13. He had and was building into , he also had I had . I engaged under my own turret and find myself not even tickling him. He started to fight back then the tower gave him 7 ish (cant remember) tower shots. He destroyed me under turret while me as an got 4 shot by a . He build full tank and still had the most damage in the enemy team. We lost he solo carried against an "fed" .

WHY IS THIS POSSIBLE WHYY.

Why nerf champs like . but keeps this sucker strong.

The tahm was going toplane against a . and the poor thing did not stand a chance. Tahm devoured her like zed would do to a adc.

Riot your doing not much right so far. Do one thing right and keep tahm where he is fun balanced and a respected champ, in support.

Nope, you lose that I'm afraid.

No MR vs his pure armour and you 1v1ed a top lane Kench while 2 levels behind.

Misread the levels, sry.

Turrets aren't the best for dealing damage, after about level 11, against tanks, they don't do much. 2 HP bars, one green one grey, as well about level 13 with that much armour, it'll take a lot to kill that. Against a top lane tank Kench you want Maw, Steraks helps from burst while Maw will give you below 30% hp magic shield. Tahm's W does 32% max HP damage so they will cancel each other out basically when low, you'll then get healing from Maw's Lifegrip, which is better for the situation. All hindsight mind you, I mean you did build it to survive Wukong mid right?

You are correct there. The problem is tho. Why are champs allowed to 1v1 under a turret and still win without taking any damage.

It means Riot’s doing something right - that you don’t always have the tools to win in every situation, and instead respect powerspikes while planning ways to overcome them.

The tahm had tons of armour to counter your damage and the towers. You had no MR. You also should have not gone all in , you should have threatened the ALL in but never actually go through with it.

He built raw armor against you and even got a Frozen Heart for an attack speed slow. None of the items you bought are useful against tanks, nor do you have any MR to stop his W from chunking your HP. If you actually wanted to beat him in a 1v1 you should have bought a Maw instead of a Steraks (Gives MR instead of useless HP to stop his W) and you should have gotten a Blade of the Ruined King (Anti-HP + sustain) or a Black Cleaver (Armor shred) instead of a Triforce.

PS. You deserve it because Tahm Kench is both very straightforward and hilariously under powered. Top is his best role, and it has a sad 47.3% win rate according to the app I use.
