Hey, im fairly new to the game, and im looking forward to play ranked (i love competetive games). I was thinking about maining adc role because i love marksman champs, but i keep hearing that adc is not recommended for new players from my friends, due to teamfighting. Is it really that hard, or should i just stay in jungle :P. I know how to attack move, kite, last hit, orb walk etc. Thanks :)
usul12022 votesAdc is a bit weird. At low levels of play it's one of the simpler roles, since you do just right click for a majority of your damage. As you get to higher elos, you'll find yourself focused and having to do a ton of positioning work and decision making that's less vital on other roles, and thus adc gets a lot harder.
Tl,dr: it's not a bad role to start on, but be aware of where the skill cap comes from so you can improve as you go.

Siyther1 votesits not hard to play adc. the problem is that you're still team reliant until u get 2 to 3 items. right now games are over by then. Its hard to climb out of low elo as adc. I am an adc main but I cant climb so now I play mid and it is so much easier.

The thigh guy1 votesLike every role adc can be hard or easy. Playing easier champions like jinx or Tristana will give you an easier time.
Honestly I think the hardest roles to play are support and jungle due to the increased amount of thought you need to put into them.
Adc is more about awareness of enemy and friend positioning. Which isn’t too hard to grasp.
