i realized that riot releases more skins in a champion that is not popular and a champion who is popular got lower skin. for example zed is a popular champion but he got only 6 skins and kayle a champion who was not popular before rework got 9 skins. honestly people who talks about riot adding skins to popular champions to take more money are stupid and they should shut up already.
And Kayle is coincidentally one of Riot´s launch champions just like Annie who has a lot of skins, or Ashe who has a lot of skins, or Mundo who has a lot of skins...
Gee, looks like older champs have a lot of skins (often low-quality skins) regardless of popularity due to the fact that the champion pool was much smaller way back then.
Do I even have to go into further detail, why your comparison is just stupid?
....but doesn't Riot release skins partially to get money? I thought that was a good chunk of the point.
I'm sure creating skins and whatnot is fun too, but the monetary gain behind it isn't exactly negligible either in my honest opinion.
Also, older champions tend to have more skins because they are older and there were less champions to give skins to at that time. Plus, a lot of older content was pushed out very quickly in the early days of League rather than the more polished and scheduled content that we see today.
