Hi. I've been playing Zed for a while now, and now that I'm somewhat good at him I'm thinking about switching over to smartcasting. I've never used it in League so I dunno much about it. It would be great if I could get some advice. Thanks!

Always use smartcast on everything, except maybe several quirky skills like Equalizer.
There is really no advice to give, except using '~' on targeted abilities if enemy stands in minions, you just need to get used to smartcasting, and ranges of your champion because now you won't see them as easily. But many abilities actually have bigger range than it is indicated, so you need to 'feel' them anyways.
Smartcasting is (almost) always the better option with every champ. With Zed too, you will do your combos way faster.
