Preseason is not looking kind to Shyvana

Please note this is not a 'Please buff Shyvana' or 'OMG Nerfs too strong' post. Merely stating my concern.

Right now there are two main things that are not looking good for my favorite half-dragon.

  1. Fervor of Battle Nerf/Rework. Instead of being a stacking on-hit damage ability, it is now a stacking AD ability. Instead of having increasing on-hit dmg (which Shyvana loves) it will now give extra AD for each stack (Shyvana is only meh on AD, its good, but she can't really use it).

  2. The increase of the jungle timers. Jungle camps will not respawn for 150 seconds unlike the 100 seconds they are at right now. Shyvana being a farm focused jungler, this will not be pleasant. Yes Shyvana can counterjungle, but with no pre-6 escapes this is extremely risky.

I do know Meddler said that there are Shyvana changes in the works for 6.23 or 6.24 but until I see those changes I am fearful for the state of Shyvana.

Shes getting a rework, there is a post about, to lazy to link it, her changes will be based on the new systems, so yeah, just wait.

It's not looking kind to Shyvana if you play her as a powerfarming champ. It's looking great for Shyvana if you player her as control jungler and counterjungle heavily. Counterjungling is going to be absolutely brutal with those spawn timers and Shyvana is among the best at it.

I believe longer jungle timers benefit shyvana, because she is a wonderful CJ jungler and longer timers allow her to fuck her opponent up better.

I think she has the fastest clear time of any jungler now. My problem is they really haven't done much about the devourer chages still. Ooo .025ap ratio on a her w. Yah that makes rage blade worth it.

It's shitting on all farming junglers and most of them are already trash.
