The state of Elise
As of this meta, the league of tanks, Elise haven't seen much game plays. To be honest, I haven't seen an Elise in a long while. Regardless, the state of Elise is very delicate in my opinion simply because playing her without any skill is very unforgiving especially with season 5 jungle. Her scaling is very ambiguous in my opinion simply because you either going to get out scaled by your opponent, or you might be building her wrong. Nonetheless, I'd like some feedbacks on how to successfully play Elise. Now before we dive into Pro tips & tricks, I'd like to mention I played Elise heavily during season 4 as she is one of my favorite jungler then, and I have attempted her in early season 5. However, I am admitting and acknowledging that I do not know how to approach playing this beautiful champion, as such, please do provide inputs on how she can be played. Ultimately, is Elise viable?

function largely the same way: poke and harass from range, then close in to finish off the target. Now, there's nothing wrong with this style, but if we have three different transforming champions it's kind of a waste to have them all play the same way.

(but then you aren't purple build, so it's sad) //
(to keep my purple build dream in tact)
can activates his W and her spiderlings will be almost dead, and of course he would always either have a sunfire or a cinderhulk to finish the spiderlings. In retrospect, they don't stay on the field. Her strength is undoubtedly skirmish potentials, but there are none if a tank Elise can't be a threat in fight. Nunu's threat can be in bloodboil or absolute zero while Elise's threat is "land cocoon or be absolutely zero damage". That's a big big set back for Elise. In this meta we see SO many AoE and with
's Q literally wipes them off the map. So if you build full tank Elise, you're a walking cocoon machine with close to no sustain. In that scenario.. why not just play
instead? Yes there are a lot of diversity in this meta, but it is not the same case for jungle. Not to mention how unforgiving it is for ANY JUNGLER to be behind, let alone a zero potential late game scale threat like Elise. To make matter worse, her early game is on even scale with a more tanky junglers like Nunu and Sejuani.
