If you want to always play your PRIMARY role do this TRICK!

put your secondary role as a role that is most commonly picked. If your role you want is a high priority role then put the secondary as the second highest picked lane. Makes it much harder for the computer to ever give you your secondary role.

Might be obvious to do this but thought I'd share anyways.

oh and if you are duo que with a friend, put your secondary role as what your duo partner put as their primary. if you both do this there is literally no way you will get your secondary role.

I'm not sure if there is a website out there that keeps track of this but play some normals non-draft and you will figure it out.

I think mid and top are arguably the highest. But once the new adc comes out Jhin or w/e his name is you can abuse that adc position to get any of the other 4 cuz we all know every game people will want to play him.

lets be honest playing ap support you get more gold than mid laners anyway. Ap support is the new mid lane. Shhh thats a secret

I've tried this; the system doesn't allow it and you will not be put in a queue.

That is ecaxtly what I wanted to do. I put top primary and support secondary, but in 80% of games I get support. Now, playing a support is not a problem for me because I like to play champs that engage the fights, but not in every game. What my problem is is the fact that this new system of matchmaking doesn´t even care what your primary role is . I say that because usually my queus are short, sometimes just 5 seconds and then I get my secondary role.

Wouldn´t it be better to let the matchmaking last longer, maybe even a couple of minutes end then if it can´t find a game where your primary role is needed in maybe 5 minutes then it starts searching for your secondary role. Because as it is it seems that the matchmaking doesn´t care what is your primary role and what secondary.

I´ll see if this improves in the next couple of days, and if not when I get fed od playing support will put mid as secondary role as it is the most requested role.
