Is anyone else being bombarded by unskilled players and AFKers?

im not here to bitch about it, but there seem to be a lot of them in ranked. Is anyone else running into these problems? especially outside of bronze

There seems to be a sort of "CoD mentality" where people only play for themselves, and dont work as a team, and they are in almost every ranked game i play. im actually resorting to becoming a professional jungler since people dont seem to understand the actual function of one, nor do they know how to push, split push or distract.

I have great teams in SOLO. Good synergy, good teamwork, good communication, ge carried by the whole team....

Then I hit my promo series...

I get a 0/10/3 jungler I get a 2/8/1 ADC I get the semi-positive 5/4/1mid who DC's And I am the only one positive...

Has occurred the past 3 promo's.. LIKE CLOCKWORK!!!

(I need to draw a comic about this: ) I was duoing, and our Nasus fed Top Fizz to high heaven, until he was an unstoppable murder machine. That's ok though, everyone has bad games. However, after we had aced them, pushed, and needed to defend for their push back (they were ahead) Nasus decided he would walk top lane and take the inner and inhib towers. While he did that we slowly died one by one. Then they took an inhib. He kept whacking the tower. Then they took a Nexus turret. Kept whacking that tower. Then, when 3 of them (we killed 2) were taking down our last Nexus turret, he tried to teleport to it but failed because it had 3 people taking it down super fast. :c

I'm not yet level 30 and won't be able to play ranked matches for a long time, but it's pretty bad in normals. The last 5 (give or take 1) Master Yis on my team went 1/10 or worse, and the last few Garen on my teams did the same. Lately, I am routinely getting paired with people who use Teleport instead of Flash, and this has been occurring with increased frequency since the start of September.

The more popular a game, the worst the player base. Also ranked has too many trolls and dc's to ever enjoy

The fact that a lot of players around you aren't as good as you indicates that you aren't at your true rank yet. I wish you the best in climbing!

A ton of players are watching worlds tourny, thats why.

They see something pros are doing, and can't imitate it.

They watch a vod, think they are some sort of gods of LoL --> come in to feed or rage at someone that does bad.

I'd say a good 80% of the teams I play with will win the early game, partly due to my ability to roam and secure victories in other lanes. However, so many teams I play with do not know how to press objectives, utilize vision, or position appropriately for team fighting. It seems like a lot of people know how to play their champion well, but don't understand the core mechanics of the game. I have to carry like a beast just to win games, I don't get to luxury of ever being carried because of this.

Played a ranked game with an ADC who was Gold 5, 2k wins under his belt, and couldn't last hit to save his soul. His build was perfect, but damn if he didn't know how to kill anyone. I don't remember if we won or lost, but he ended the game 0/8/4 while the rest of us were at least 3/3/10.

I think this is the motto of League. "Sometimes your team isn't so bad."

But if you mean recently, yes. Especially in the past few days I've had several matches of... less than Big Boss skill players, and more importantly, a huge rash of disconnects, with most of them being at least half of the game, or all of it.

Ya, it feels like I still get 2-3 feeders more than half the time. I've had to go through Silver 2 promos over half a dozen times by now. Half end in failure, the other half is a demotion immediately after. I even duo with a jungle main, but it doesn't matter if top, mid and support are all feeding 1v1 or 2v2.

Not that I've played many ranked games, but I've never ran into an unskilled player. I've found players who have had bad games, and they would apologize for it, but that's about it. Maybe I've been lucky but people actually seem to follow pings really well.
