PLEASE don't fucking ornn-ify aatrox.
I heard a lot of outcry over the past week or two about how Aatrox is "rito's biggest mistake and worst rework and is 100000% un-viable"
Its a load of crap.
Every Aatrox I've fought so far since his live release has played like an ape, missed over 2/3rds of their Qs, and still wins off the crazy scalings of his abilities and the GA that allows for surprisingly far away escapes considering it all
The reason people whine? He's a high skill cap champion (well, SHOULD be, but if the lack of red-zone hits of these players is anything to go by while still winning lane and game is painful 'nough.
He's also pretty bad against anyone with high mobility like Yasuo, Riven, etc that can just negate his minimal mid-q movement and escape his W's But against immobile champs of all types, you're fucked kiddo. Darius? Nah. Top Kench? GL in lcs, pal. Hell, even when i jungle and he's the enemy top, he's a bigger pain to deal with than about 90%~ of champs (other pain-champs including Renekton, Camille, Riven etc).
Hell, most people will probably shrug this off as a salt-post and screech about my last dari game, but frankly, no. That game was carried by a Hecarim that just got fed early and snowballed, Aatrox went pretty negative that game but so did i because *all he did was out-sustain, out-trade, out-move every gank, and if you tried to push to tower he'd just kill your whole wave with 1 Q rotation. I'm talking about every single game I've had against this wheezy shouty russian demon man.
Oh, you want to take tower anyways? You're already dead. You want to dive him and take it after? GL with 2 lives and mobility-while-resurrecting. You want to SOMEHOW kill him in lane and then go for it? Well, assuming he doesn't just hard disengage and heal up off his E spellvamp and you manage to kill him twice, he'll likely have TP since he doesn't need ignite to have good enough kill pressure in lane
The flaw comes with the fact that he's oppressive to every immobile champ, and pathetic against every mobile one. I'll admit, if you take something like Camille or Riven or Renekton i guarantee you'll have a waaaaay easier time against him. But you shouldn't have to pick a champion you're inexperienced to have a chance at winning a lane, that completely eliminates the factor of skill or proficiency with your main champs.
If i have a 67% wr with Tahm Kench and a 0% wr with Jax, you know who the hell i'm picking among those 2 choices. If i have a 71% on 14 games of Darius, and 1 lost game on Irelia, you know which i'd pick.
Its always wise to have a handful of picks to play, but i'd rather enjoy myself and focus on macro play instead of trying to cram every single active and ability into a Camille combo, ignoring the enemy jg rushing me at mach 12. That's why Camille is still one of my lower above-50% winrate champs that can be played effectively in top. I'd forgo the ability to play well by map awareness and rotations to gain the ability to have a chance to win a lane topside
I hear that riot's happy with Aatrox's current Q buffs and i hope they don't buff him again. Frankly, a light nerf might be warranted.
People are still learning, and another Kai'sa incident would be nice to avoid, but i'm not holding out too much hope, knowing good ol' Risotto Games.
---AA---
against
.
He already my one to go Banned without thinking, i disgust aatrox as Urgot main and he destroy me badly without able to touch him even if game consider urgot ranged his Q range enough to catch me.
And urgot is mobile ? joke on you his W slow him down, a skill slow you down xDDD
