Matchmaking Question

I'm not usually one to complain, especially on the forums, but tonight I found some major wtf-ness with the 5v5 matchmaking.

The photo is from LoLNexus. I pulled it up to check when we were noticing that the other team had dramatically more skills than ours. (We're casual players, so mostly we just play norms.) So, as you can guess, they freaking slaughtered us.

Can someone please tell me how the hell this is supposed to be fair?

And the kicker: we wound up going against these guys not once, but _twice _ in a row.
