Yasuos (massive) effect on league

Hey guys, I've been playing league since S3, played on NA, EUW and now I'm teaching English in China so I've been playing their servers for a year now. I wanted to talk about Yasuo. Before you think this is a rage post about Yasuo, it's not. in fact this is more about his general effect on the game both IN And out of matches, mostly in normals. Yasuo currently has about 90% pick rate mid on the two servers I play in normals, and is near 100% ban in ranked at least plat and under. if you DON'T See him, it's almost like your in a different universe. but this statistic leads to a worrying trend, that this effectively decides lane in almost every match. me, and everyone who plays in normals, has to SPECIFICALLY Pick to play against yasuo. since, as popular opinion goes, yasuo is a massive cancer to almost all Midlands, or gets crushed if they pick s good champ. This effectively forces EVERYONE who doesn't play him in mid to prepare to fight him, effecting their champ select and gameplay. I play ziggs, malz, zed and brand (battle boss fanboy) mostly, and aside from malz, he decimated them by kit nature. against a good or equal skilled yasuo, I will almost ALWAYS Lose lane in champ select, and being forced to pick a counter pick when I want to play Aureion sol for ex. I truly dont believe yasuo is op, and I have both lost and won to hundreds, but the nature of his kit allows him to crush SO many champs without any effort, and to effect champ select and his opposing players games is too much. No champion should have such a massive effect on gameplay and the client, it's absurd. I was always more casual playing but I have to play ranked just because it's funner fighting different champs and playing who i want. I'm sure their are others like me forced into rank to avoid him, which in turn effects others ranked matches. obviously my statistics are not 100% correct as I don't know where to find them, but I assure you my last 50 normal games all have a Yasuo, many being Yasuo vs Yasuo. Is NA like this, does he infect you guys as well, or am I just assuming too much? Do you agree or not? I'm more curious if riot has any real plans for his kit, it's just so oppressive to so many champs, and like I said, no champ should have such a huge effect.
