Tahm Kench devour (W)

I just played a game as Olaf against a Tahm Kench in top lane. i played safe until i was 6 knowing he had a stun and suppress. once i hit 6 i went all in and used my ult once he stacked his passive on me. he tried stunning me and using his devour while i was ulted. right when my ult ended he used his devour again on me and threw me under his tower. now my issue is that at max rank that spell has a 10 second cd. at level 6 i know its not at max rank. why did that spell not go on cd. varus ult, ashe ult, ahri charm, irelia stun, ect would go on cd. why is tahms ability special enough to reset its cd?

He could've been running cdr runes (shrug)

Since when your cc immune it doesn't do anything compared to Varus ult Ashe ult Irelia stun still does the damage damage but Tahm's doesn't do damage unless he eats you so they don't put it on cooldown.

more than likely it was that you became an invalid target and his devour was not usable. similar to how mord couldn't use his w when there wasn't an ally to use it on for a little while.

His devour doesn't work when you are in your ult so he didn't even use it. If he eats you, then you ult, you immediately get released and his devour goes on cooldown.
