After champion select loading screen does not come up and gives me an error tab

I just got 5 games of 20 min lower priority que for not connecting 2 games in dominion because after champion select my screen stayed black and a window popped up saying unable to connect check internet. I checked my internet and it was perfectly fine. still unable to load in a game.any known fixes would be great.
