Anivia needs an update

  • Slowest moving, and therefore the easiest to dodge skill shot in the entire game.

  • Highest mana dependency of any champion in this game.

  • No mobility what so ever

  • Both Q and R are extremely easy for the enemy to cancel, leaving Anivia completely defenseless.

  • Her passive ability takes forever and actually lowers defense substantially, pretty much guaranteeing any enemy can kill the egg easily.

Anivia is way too item dependent. Most champions become dangerous when they finish their first item. Anivia needs at least three to even be relevant. She can clear about two waves easily, then has to return to the fountain for mana. This champion is way out of date and way too mana dependent to be competitive. Her biggest problem is a complete lack of speed, in both abilities or movement.

She is a late midgame/late game and(!) teamfight monster. After lvl 6 she has one of the best waveclear abilities ingame...

Anivia would be a decent pick if there was more AP, mana and cdr available in itemization. She can be a powerful pick midgame and she scales well in certain teamcomps vs certain other teamcomps. Unless you're froggen, she was always and always intended to be a niche pick and in solo queue , there's nothing stopping a good player from doing well with her in the top of challenger on every region.
