HI! I main midlane, and I'm looking for some champs to add to my pool. I already play almost all of the assassin champs, so I'm looking for a mage to start playing. What champs would you recommend? To give you an idea about my preferred play style, I enjoy and play a lot of Yasuo, Zed, Talon, and Fizz. As you can tell, I enjoy cancer. (Don't say Lux. I would main Teemo before I enjoyed Lux.)

Back when you have enough for another doran ring + pots or if enough get boots as well. Then get some kills and volia first item ardens.
AlienPrimate1 votesI personally play tanks mid so assassins can't do their job. My recent games are 19/7/12 mundo vs brand, 10/6/6 malphite vs zed, and 7/1/4 nautilus vs fizz.

pro: high burst with not many items, self disengage tool, scales with health and AP so semi-tanky. Hard to bully out of lane because of sustain. Good scaling
con: Abilities cost some health. Provides no means of CC. Can possibly be bullied if the matchup is against a low CD champion like 
. No gapcloser
pro: very high base damage, good scaling, strong bullying, extremely good roaming, grounded effect + disengage with W. Can zone off objectives with ult or catch people that run away with ult. Consistent damage due to Q being a form of DPS
con: she is somewhat difficult midlane because of the worked ground effect, so playing only for the lane means you have to be consistent with landing W. You have to have a understanding of when to roam and how you should use ult effectively. No mobility tools outside of ult which can be canceled
pro: respectable burst damage. Decent scaling. Extremely strong bullying. Pseudo drain tank with ultimate. Can fare against most assassins and other champions people generally hate. Ult works well with 
. Some sustain in lane. Works well with dive/cc heavy comps as he can pull enemies in with his passive. Can cut off autopathing enemies with W because of its high range. Can either go electrocute, grasp, or phase rush (I prefer electrocute personally)
con: ignite and grevious wounds might deter Swain from playing haphazardly. Vulnerable early if he misses E. Mana intensive
Pro: Solid early all-in. Can match the pushing power of half of the midlane cast. Solid mobility to dodge alot of spells and such. Ultimate does tons of damage. Used as a counterpick to 
, other traditional midlaners that can choose to not interact with their lane opponent
Cons: He doesn't have much range or the safety of range. Provides no CC. Still ADC levels of defense. Very niche in many situations. Has bad matchups. Lucian in general is pretty difficult to play optimally

CBennett12121 votesNot sure of his status right now. But, I play assassins like yourself and I like Xerath. He really gets me out of my assassin mentality and does a lot of damage from a different range in fights. He is very vulnerable to assassins. But, because you main ma y of them, you may know how to play the counter. I would bam Zes when using Xerath. Just a thought. Let me know how it goes if you try.
