Why You Shouldn't Honor In A Losing Game

Honoring your team after losing a game is rewarding bad behavior. If you honor them it let's them think that the way they played is acceptable and they won't try to improve.

You may not agree with me and that is fine but I never honor after a losing game and I would suggest that others follow my example. It might help encourage people to try and improve their gameplay.

I strongly disagree. There's three types of honor; chill, shot call, and great team mate. Just because there's one fucker ruining the game by flaming and inting, doesn't mean I shouldn't honor the person getting flamed if they're chill about it and still trying their best to win.

Cool story bro, but I want to get my honor progress done faster so I'm gonna honor somebody after every game. If I hated my whole team I'm still gonna click randomly in the honor screen till I hit something.

Honor is for good behavior, it isn't for being trash or challenger at league. If you don't want someone repeating their bad plays, then say so in chat in a non toxic way.

Behavior and skill are separate terms when it comes to League (or any multiplayer game, really).

Behavior is how players treat others in their games. Skill is how they perform at their position as a player. The honor system was, in my opinion, released with more emphasis on behavior rather than skill. The only honor category directly related to gameplay talent is "Shotcalling." However, even if you are a decent shotcaller, if you prove to be a jackass in game, I am much less likely to honor you.

This mentality that honor is only for players who perform well is something that people have raised flags about on multiple occasions.

The only time i won't honor at all is if eveyone on my team makes me hate them (either by feeding super hard and not trying to play safe, being toxic, or giving up), but usually about 60% of losing games even where my team gets stomped i will give at least 1 person the tiltproof
