Predictions about the upcoming Juggernaut item additions in the next patch.

So I've noticed that Dead Man's plate is basically a must have for any tanky top laner that isn't Maokai. It is fantastic on champs like Nasus, Olaf, Shen, Mundo and even Irelia.

I really feel like there is going to be a huge shift when the next patch comes out with the new items. Almost specifically those champions top lane that can manage to make Triforce work for them, as movement speed increases more and more in value.

Sterak's Gage, a new item that increases BASE AD, and increases it even more if you get potentially bursted, creates this indirect buff to top laners that use Triforce, as its damage takes into account the champion's base damage for its proc.

Add these two items with Dead Man's plate, and theoretically you have a Top laner that can potentially rush down carries without having to have a gap closer, and more smart positioning. This is what I feel is the theory behind these buffs.

What this ACTUALLY creates is a huge buff to champions like Irelia, Jax, and AD Fizz, who actually already have gap closers.

Irelia is already annoying to deal with when she hits her Triforce Spike. Dead Man's Plate's stacks can be lowered with any CC, however, her tenacity lets her mitigate it, therefore retaining more stacks, more movement speed, and in finality, more damage. If she gets all three Items (Tri, Sterak's, Dead Man's), she can actually become unstoppable. Add a Merc Treads to that, and you have an Irelia that will get you once she sees you.

Now, lets look at Titanic Hydra and Olaf. Every single one of these new items benefit Olaf, as he can ult, and have his Dead Man's not lose stacks. This means that he is going to rush at you even faster, probably proc Sterak's from everyone trying to focus him down, and with his passive and w attack speed, he will hit like a truck with Titanic Hydra (Who's damage scales off of a percentage of your max health).

I feel that the meta shift with this patch going to be a Fighter/Bruiser meta, which I suppose is the intention that Riot has. I'm totally ok with it. I just wanted to point out potential builds that can completely overwhelm solo q.

Also, if there are any Poppy mains out there, be sure to try these new items out on her with some sort of mana regen to help, because I'm positive that she is also on the list of champions that will thrive here.

Those are my feelings on this upcoming patch. What do you guys think?
