URF mode for Training: A Suggestion for Custom games

I know this already sounds like a broken record to say that Riot should bring URF mode, but I feel like it could help a bit with training.

I tend to play a lot of fighting games, more commonly, I play Street Fighter. When going into training mode in Street Fighter, you can put settings on your character and the opponent, such as giving yourself infinite, or recovering meter, counting every hit as a counter hit, removing stun, etc.

When URF mode had first come out, I noticed that I found myself customing with a friend, or even by myself, just to practice skill shots, and potential maximization of damage on champs, since cooldowns were so low and mana was infinite. I was doing this way more often than actually PvPing.

Moving around was a breeze as well. I probably wouldn't have figured out how to wall dash with certain champs so quickly and easily. I know that in a real game, you dont have all those resources, but practicing in those environments helps you experiment which combos might be stronger, how you can maneuver through the jungle with flash/ghost while timing yourself, and seeing how to combine ults correctly really fast without having to wait for cooldowns so often.

I know that Whether or not the people in charge WANT to bring it back can do it, but it's just interesting to see how similar Training mode in Street Fighter is to URF mode in a custom game.

I agree wholeheartedly. My favorite thing about URF was how much easier it made learning how to wall jump as Riven. I would love to have the opportunity to grind out inSecs or the like in customs without having to wait 5 minutes between tries.

horrible idea.

Teach people that they have 80% CDR and no mana costs. THen when they do to a real game they have no starting CRD and it caps at 40%. Then add to the fact that mana casts do exits.

You are just going to to end up with more people not understanding the real game.

This is exactly what I've been saying about URF since day 1. Everyone else was complaining about all the cancerous champions "Ban Nidalee!" "Omg I hate Ezreal ugh!" but whenever I saw them in my games I would think "Yes! Dodging practice!" I want my dodge practice back!!
