when does gnar come out?

I was wondering because I've never got a champion just as its released before and I have over 1300 riot points and I wanted to know when he releases so I can stop worrying about it

We haven't locked down an exact date yet and won't until we're confident Gnar is ready . Most often though new champions get released in the next patch after they've come out on PBE and at present we're putting out a patch roughly every two weeks.

Meddler, there is a good chance that i will be out of town when Gnar is released as a bundle with his Dino skin :( I will be job hunting/going to interviews. I will not have my pc with me, only a netbook. What should i do? I really wanted to buy him. Please help me.

There is a 100% chance that there will be a Gnar & Dino Gnar bundle.

Oops! I misread that a bit. I'm sorry about that. Well, most champions take around two patch cycles to flush everything out. I'd say Patch 4.15 as Gnar's release patch. As to when... Soon TM.

well could you possibly tell me how many riot points he will cost when released that way I can have a little room to spend to pacify myself in the meantime?

both Gnar and his skin are 975 RP each.

The bundle will be 1462 RP

Not to sound too negative, but will this be another case of: Week 1, 7800 IP - week 2, 6300 IP - week 3, in the F2P-rotation - week 4/5, nerfed.

Unless something gets confirmed/speculated about the nerfs already, it's the week 2-option for me, because...well, Gnar is just cuteness in abundance(!). But no champion is worth the asking price in RP (even just barely when on sale - Lulu, I'm only looking at you), and the first week it will be impossible to play due to insta-lockers anyway (tried it with Vel'Koz and Braum).
