People seem to have a misconception about pick order...

Just because you pick at the same time does not mean you are the same in terms of "pick" order. The title "pick order" is very misleading but it means whoever is above you has priority over you in terms of role/lane even if you both pick at the same time. I all too often see people calling roles in ranked champ select and saying they get the role because they called it before a person above them and are picking at the same time.

In the end, where's the rule that states pick order? You either lock it in before someone else regardless of height, or you let the caller take it. It's up to your discretion whether you want to be flamed, be the flamer, or be chill about it. Just like meta, nothing forces anyone.

Otherwise, start a petition to make champ select longer by splitting up the pair picks to single picks in a row. Because this sounds more like someone picking under you at the same time insta locked ur role and now u mad.

Also, you can't get mad if someone calls before you, and you don't say anything because you're above them, and then they insta lock not even knowing you wanted it. : ) I see that all the time.

You do realize that these people understand that right? They are simply trolling you to try and get their way.

I hate the whole concept of automatic pick order. I think it should be decided based on what is best for the team, like if there is someone who is a Top main but can Jungle as a secondary, then he/she should play jungle if nobody else can. It doesn't matter if they're first pick and call top, they should fill that position for the team. Is it better in ranked to play a role you like, or win a game?

this just happened the other day. the other guy actually didn't even call but instead he insta-locked and said it was his role because he locked it in first, despite me having both priority and calling the lane. he trolled me all game calling noob, scrub and everything else. after the game he tried to friend me so we could 1v1 so he could prove he was better... don't you just love the league community
