I dont understand
I just played a game in which I was playing Lee Sin jungle, along with a friend who was playing Lux mid, we both got really fed early especially him because his lane opponent was afk for 10 minutes of the game, thats where the problem arises, when this yasuo came back, not only did he reach all of our levels in a matter of minutes, he managed to surpass our level and become the highest level in the game, and its true, he did have alot of CS and was farming like a beast even though you can be braindead and farm well with Yasuo, but the problem is, is that theres no punishment for afking for a while in game, besides maybe missing out on some gold, you get more xp the farther you are behind, which in theory is fair I suppose but in practice it makes it so the players that are doing good never truly put someone out of the game no matter how better they are doing, because you can always catch up in level. As I said, it seems fair right? But it means that no matter how good you do over your opponent, they dont have to put in any extra effort to get to your level again, and it leads into another point, besides a respawn timer and some gold, there is no punishment for dying either, im going to use Dota2 as an example, in said game, when you die, you dont just give your opponent gold, they TAKE it from you, so you get punished for doing bad, as you should, its not insanely harsh punishment, but when you do poorly it reflects, thats not saying its impossible to come back after that, but you actually have to put effort into coming back into the game, thats my point.
