Uncommon Main being Banned Commonly?

it's been odd, I've normally never had such an issue, but some of my mains that I play like whom I love playing, seem to be the first or second ban on the enemy teams list which really doesn't make sense to me. There are a lot more bans but out of the blue they just ban him. I'd concede if it was a common ban, but when has been banned so much?!?

6/10 games played mid, been banned. I don't understand, someone explain logic please :/
