How do supports even get graded?

I main support (I know, point and laugh) and I rarely ever get an S, even when I go 0/2/17 or something along those lines. Does it go by kills? Deaths? Gameplay? Are supports just screwed in that area? I've been trying to get my Nami 7 token but no matter how well I do I always get an A or a B. The few times I've gotten an S is when I manage to pick up a few kills in a game...but I shouldn't be getting a high score for doing that lol, it's not my job. So wut?

Not only does every role have some set goals in order to reach the grade, but it also takes the character as well. With that what goes into grading (from my experience) takes into account: K/D/A, Ward placed/destroyed, Objectives taken (Baron, Dragon, Towers, etc) as well as the overall performance of said champion in that Region. So while you get 0/2/17 as a Nami in NA that i think everyone will agree its a good score, overall from all the other people playing Nami in the NA servers that score might not be the best at least not to get you an S. Especially when getting death that probably drops your grade a lot.

I think into consideration for supports is CS or healing done/shielded. Damage done if you are more of a damage support like morgana, bard or zyra. One of the things people don't think about is kill participation or amount of wards and I think that is a factor. If you go 0/2/17 but there have been 50+ kills on your team then the score isn't as good as if there were only 20 kills. I haven't gotten an S- through an S+ on Nami yet but if I do I will tell you how. Good luck!
