RP - Help me maximize my purchases (first time spending money in game)

I've played league for 3 months and im going to spend some money on the game for the first time and I am unsure how to maximize my purchases; however, I do know that it is silly to buy champions with RP because I can farm IP for that. I'm sitting at 23k IP

Ok. I'm going to try to break this down to get the best input from you guys that I can.

yesterday I just earned my two mastery tokens for Veigar and Lux. So, I can unlock mastery level 6 on both champions, but, I only have 600 blue essesence. I have 1600 orange essesence and right now my hextech items I have are Boneclaw shyvanna and Fisherman fizz ( i will probably DE both since I dont plan on playing either of them, so theres more orange essence for me)

I'm going to buy 5000 RP most likely or 7200 RP if i'm feeling extra spendy. My questions to you guys are:

  1. Should I purchase a chest bundle (5+1 or 10+1 bundle) insothat I can acquire more blue essence if I get champs that I can DE that I don't plan on playing? My logic for this method is that If I get more champs and accumulate more than 1k blue essensce, I can unlock mastery 6 on both Lux and Veig, not just one or the other. I don't know if this is worthwhile and if I'll get anything cool that I'll like; nonetheless, the bundle would be more for the blue essensce.

  2. lets say I did buy a chest bundle, and I bought the 10+1 bundle for, is it a total gamble ? will I get anything cool? thoughts on this from someone who bought 10+1 chest bundle would be awesome

  3. I'd love a lux and or veigar skin since I play them the most, which skins should I get? THe final boss veig is so expensive andd I'd only have 1200RP left to spend (if I buy 10+1 chest bundle and the final boss skin)

I'd also love a lux skin, but wouldn't have enough leftover for Star Guardian lux which looks awesome. I love the ulti for this skin, the laser just looks so pew pew awesome xD

If you want blue essence, buy champion shards. They cost IP, so you don't have to spend anything to get more.

For Rp, buy any skins you want, champions if you want them, basically anything you for sure want. After that if you still have some left and want to spend it, chest bundles are pretty good

You can use IP to buy champion shards I think, so it'll actually be more cost effective that way. Also if you want specific skins it's always better to buy them directly. Go lookup skin sale schedules to see if there's any chance of the ones you want coming up for sale soon, otherwise just grab whatever you want now.

the sailor moon lux skin is very very worth the price for sure :) so i think you wont regret that purchase ever.

for getting blue essence - buy champion shards for IP, don't waste RP for that.

For the rest, i would say, don't waste RP for the hextech also. I bought maybe 30 chests total with my RP and i didn't get anything decent at all from them. You get random stuff. Maybe you will get lux skin or something, but the chance is so low. it's a fun but very expensive mini game.

So if you want to maximize your RP purchase, my advice : don't buy hextex chests, keep an eye on skins discounts, farm blue essence by buying champion shards with IP. And lastly - spend your RP only on the skins :)

Buying Champs:

Wait until the champ is on sale and buy it with RP. If the champ is 3100 or less, buy it with IP. Once all 3100IP champs and less have been bought, mystery gift yourself the remaining champions.

Buying skins:

Again, if you want a specific skin, it's best to wait until the skin is on sale or buy it outright. Hextech is complete gambling and I've seen people blow hundreds of dollars and not get the skin they wanted. The odds are not just straight 1 in ____ odds and certain shards will be found more than others.

Skin shards:

When you get a skin shard, you are getting a shard, not a skin. The legendaries and such cost like 1500 Orange Essence. You would have to sell 6-7 shards to afford that.
