Taliyah - A small Gameplay Suggestion

Hello,

I recently tried Taliyah after the patch, and I want to say that her W feels much smoother, but I have one complaint and a suggestion for it.

The W marker should get an update, because as a new Taliyah player it feels very weird to aim for 1 reason: the W marker doesnt also display the AOE of the W which makes it weird to land the W, especially on a moving target.

I would suggest adding the AOE circle combined with the directional marker so the W would feel even more reliable.

What do you think about my suggestion?

Thanks for listening to my opinion, Nanok24 [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

I agree. I played taliyah before the rework with a very good degree of success (about 20 games in ranked with an 80% W/L after spending maybe 100 games on her in normals) and I feel like the old taliyah W felt more rewarding to hit, and her combo felt much, MUCH better to land as well. The main issue I have with her current W is that I can't see where I'm casting it anymore. Just putting the old AoE circle back would make the spell feel so much better as a whole for me as It'd allow me to visually see where I'm casting it. (Also can we add like 25 range to it please? I've tried casting it at max range a ton of times only to have Taliyah walk towards the area I wanted her to cast it, just so she could cast it.)

The W reticle cannot come back if Vector Casting is what people want. Lemme post my little explanation and suggestion...:

{quoted}

As long as people want Vector Casting, the circle radius indicator cannot come back because it conflicts with the paradigm of it. As I've explained before, Vector Casting was not designed for circle-based skillshots. It's designed for line-based skillshots, hence why the targetting reticle doesn't suit Taliyah's W at all.

What we want is another form of Casting altogether, something Riot Zenon preferred and stuck to because he felt it was right for Taliyah. That is until people who played Taliyah once and didn't like her decided to file a complaint.
