When I got to Gold 5, my first initial thought was "YES! I finially escaped elo hell! I'll get teammates that can think and have better situational awareness!" Now after playing a lot of games in gold i started to think "Well damn, I got better teams in Silver."

That's because of all the people who got boosted into Gold V. Climb out into Gold 3 if you wish to see true gold.
