Asking for a problem to be addressed for over a year, and then having consecutive nerfs instead of anything remotely helpful being done, and you're gonna sit there and be like "hey maybe Riot is right and you're all overreacting"
People have made MORE than enough civil threads addressing Sona's core problems and asking for someone to respond (and not just say 'she's fine'). Yes, there is the overzealous person who will comment, but that goes for literally every other thing on this board. So don't get all damn preachy because people are upset that their favorite champ needs changes. This is no different than Cass and Morde, honestly.

I mean you want what? Her to be able to just soak a beating by the enemy ADC after getting hooked by Thresh, then return the favor and then some?
Sona isnt worse than the other AP supports, she is just suffering from many of the same problems that the other mages are, and that the other supports are. I see Sona much more often than other AP supports, and she does fine. Be realistic, is she somehow unplayable because shes not Lux level of safety/harass? Thats a problem with Lux, not needing to bring Sona up to Lux level of power. Hooking supports are overshadowing APs... whats new. Very few people take Karma into a match...
What makes Sona so special that she should get "amazo buffs" over anyone else, when shes in the same spot as others of her class? Nothing, so while I get it, you like Sona, you want to compete with her... sure, but thats you, other people want their mage/sup to be buffed too... and guess what, they aint getting it either.
When they say "we think Sona is in a good spot", the fact that the aforementioned spot is in the bottom of a dumpster is left unsaid.
People are mad about Riot's abuse of Sona because she has been completely dismantled as a champion, and every time someone has an enjoyable game with her they destroy her all over again. If they did to Zed or Riven what they do to Sona there would be blood. So the answer people are looking for is "we are going to address our litany of mistakes regarding this champion people like and spend money on". Riot pretending they aren't there doesn't make them not exist.

Yes. Riot probably does hate sona current design. She's a low interaction champ that pushes other champs out of the game when she's strong. That's why she's always mediocre at best, she can't be allowed to be strong.
The root of this problem is, and has almost always been, her Q. It's frankly a dumb skill. But whenever riot suggests changing it (or anything about Sona) people throw a gigantic fit.
So riot basically says "if you don't want us to make your champion strong, fine"
Then Sona players whine about how Riot hates them
Don't forget the part where they accuse Riot of hating Sona and how there's a huge conspiracy to keep her a shit champion.

Sona is fine, I have to agree with riot on this ( I play her and she is ridicilously strong in the right matchups). I really dont know why the sona circlejerk is so big on this board, probably comes from the same guys who still think zed is broken op~ And no, sona is not like every other support. She has damage with incredible sustain if you can get your lane ahead. She deals a lot more damage then nami as well and her zoning potential is a lot higher then from other support champions.
