Opinions on Refillable Potion/Hunter's Potion

This is mainly about Hunter's Potion as most people don't build Refillable in lane (aside from maybe a support, but that's beside the point). I feel like in the jungle, even on low sustain junglers, taking Refillable Potion > Hunter's Potion makes the early clear harder and is a waste of money. Having Refillable Potion made it so most of the jungler's I use HAD to go back after clearing four camps (or die attempting the fourth camp) without being able to gank. While having three Health Pots let me clear the fourth camp and still get a gank off without fear of dying in said gank.

Not to mention that overall it feels like jungle monsters give less gold than they did previously so wasting an extra 250 gold seems unneeded. Especially if up against a sustain jungler who doesn't have to buy it and is put farther ahead by you buying it.

I'm really just wondering if anyone has found success with it or if it's a "noob trap" much like Cull is considered to be. (To be fair, I'm only in Silver so higher level play isn't my forte, so maybe I'm missing something that's really good about it.)

Hey man, w.e u need to make a good clear is what matters. Try taking feast mastery if you havn't yet that might help too as i dont usually upgrade my potion because the smite upgrade is usually enough. At least for everyone that i jungle with.. And rengar is generally not known for having healthy clears.

I don't even bother with Hunter's Potion anymore. I always just go machete/talisman 3 potions. Why waste 450 gold on a gimmicky item line that becomes worthless when you get your jungle item?

If you have a weak jungler for multiple clears, useful. Otherwise, it's junk really.

It's awful.

The one jungler that I've taken it on was Malzahar because he could get a full clear done with just the refillable. Then I never upgrade it. After 4 charges it becomes cost efficient with 3 pots.

I think the only way to get use out of hunters is if you buy it instead of buying any jungle item at all, but I don't know who would do that. The time lost from doing less damage to camps and the experience lost from not having a jungle item doesn't make it worth. I'm also curious if anyone's figured out how to make this item work.
