Tanks Need Diminishing Returns

How to Balance this TANK META. Just my thoughts on how to make this meta more balanced. Tanks are strong and everyone knows this but way to tanks do the same damage or more then fighters, assassins, and mages? Its kind of sad when you just count who has the most tanks and have a good idea of who will win before the game starts. Just an example of what can help this meta. diminishing returns Tanks who build full tank should be there to peel and take damage for there back line, not go in and kill the other sides back line with burst.

  1. The more Tank you build the less Damage you do.
  2. The more HP you get the slower you move. Example -Build 50 armor or Magic Res (Do 5% less damage) -Build 100 armor or Magic Res (Do 10% less damage) -Build 150 armor or Magic Res ( Do 15% less damage) ect...ect.. -Build 1000 HP (move 1.5% slower) -Build 2000 HP (move 3% slower) -Build 3000 HP (move 4.5% slower) ect...ect...

That way if you choose to be a tank, you will be a tank not a burst Fighter But will also keep the players who like to build Tanks with AD or Magic Items still useful without nuffing the champs themselves.

This is just a quick example what could help this tank meta be more balanced please leave a response on changes and thoughts to this post.

How many tanks that aren't Nasus can build full tank and burst people down like squishy damage dealers?

Only if ranged champs move 5% slower for buyign a BF sword which does not make their damage from guns and bows go up and have more realistic reload times on their weapons.

Okay,

Defensive items are very efficient and makes tanks with consistent and scaling damage (e.g. offensive scaling with defensive stats, percentage maximum health damage) wreck teamfights in the mid-game

Doesn't mean you should go ahead and gut them into meat blocks that runs into you and get devoured.

Tanks don't do as much or more damage than fighters, mages and assassins.

On the end screen, a Tank's damage looks like an Assassin's because while the assassin spends 30 seconds waiting to go in, the tank already is in, and has been dealing his damage over a longer period of time. It's Weaker and Longer VS Stronger and Shorter, Sustained VS Burst.

"tanks need diminishing returns"

Yeah? Lets get rid of the multiplicative damage on ADCs then. Or the 35% armor penetration. You realize AD champions can effectively get 285% damage? thats nearly a three times multiplier. In real math, that would nearly be four times.
