LEARN TO GET CARRIED
IF UR 3/6 UR NOT THE CARRY LEARN TO GET CARRIED BY THE PERSON WHO IS 7/0
IF UR 3/6 UR NOT THE CARRY LEARN TO GET CARRIED BY THE PERSON WHO IS 7/0
Good advice except I never get people going 7-0, it's always 0-7. I'm the one that always ends up having to do everything. I can only remember like one game in the past forty where I got carried.
This is one of worst mentalities players have here. They think, just because someone isnt performing well , that they should just be passive in game and let team carry them. But they forget MOST IMPORTANT thing about games. They are played for fun. Where is fun in sitting behind turret, just being passive, waiting 30 mins for game to end without u having any impact in it? Thats where the shittiest advice comes "play safe, stay behind turret, do nothing". Thats not "play safe", thats "dont play at all while we have fun".

Go play normals with that strategy. In ladder games people primarily want to win. If they can have fun, that's fine but the goal of ladder games is to climb the ladder which you do by winning. If you're 0-3 in lane it proves that the enemy is better than you. You do you team a great service by playing passive and not feeding him any further. In your attempt to "have fun" you will feed him 10 kills and he will proceed to wreck the rest of your team and you will lose.

Except, you arent having any fun doing it. Even in ranked, u play for fun. Competitive fun, but still fun. Its better to have fun and lose than to win but feel shitty.

I can't see how dying 8 times to a stronger opponent is any fun.
My own play is very passive. I do nothing but farm and avoid trades as much as possible when I play to more seriously. It's boring as fuck yea, but do you know what is fun ? Later on when I've out farmed everybody and I'm stronger than almost everyone and I start getting doubles and tripples. It's fun to barrel down a lane with your team smashing everything in sight because your damage is so high the enemy team can't stop you. Its fun watching the jungler jump on you from a bush 1v1 only for his HP bar to instantly disappear. It's fun hearing that jungler say your champ is broken while completely ignoring the fact that you have 225 CS 27 minutes into the game while he has 60.
The average game goes for 30 minutes. Plenty of time to have fun. You don't need to die 12 times in the first 10 minutes to have fun.
Keep in mind that approx 60 JG CS is equivalent to 4,380 gold (if it includes an even amount of all camps including one scuttle per rotation).
I'm guessing 225 CS is approx 5K (rough and probably high estimate because cannon creep math is weird), so it's really not that huge of a disparity.

Ah...ok. Good to know. Didn't factor that in when I made the post but my point should still be clear.
Absolutely clear.
I'm a jungle main, so it always bugs me when people say "Why don't you have X CS at Y minutes?" and I'm sitting on three complete items with the same score as they are, and they're at like 1 and a half.

GO CHECK YOUR HOME PAGE OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS THERE IS A VIDEO FROM RIOT THAT SAYS LEARN TO GET CARRIED LOL U KNOW NOTHING HAHA ITS RANKED NOT FOR FUN NORMALS ARE FOR FUN
it's a video game with the intent for it to be fun regardless whether it is ranked or normals. Ranked just has an incentive to play on a more serious level but everyone needs to remember that league is just a video game and nothing more it isn't your job it isn't your living it isn't important it is just a means of entertainment and everyone's view on what is fun is different.
there is a small exception to those who stream/competative even then if they aren't enjoying the game you will see a decline in their play but this is like .00001% of the player pool

Fair point but still, dying over and over again isn't fun. Not for the one dying and certainly not for his team mates who have to deal with his mess later on.

where is the fun in having the grey screen for half a game?
where is the fun in having the grey screen for half a game?
Where is fun in watching everyone else having fun while playing passive? Where is fun in winning a game without actually playing or having impact in victory? Grey screen means u at least fought.

where is the fun in not playing because you are dead??
Okay.
Is there a school for this? I've been looking online all over the place and I can't seem to find anywhere that will teach me this. Please help.
:P /all chat too op :P
I would also like to point out that "learn to get carried" does not mean "stop playing the game". It means try to help the person who's ahead.
If my ADC is 0/3 and we lose bot outer, I'm going to roam as support and try to help provide vision or assistance for the fed person cause if the ADC just farms, they will still be effective. Obviously I will come back bot if the enemy bot lane is pushing that tower, but giving the ADC solo experience and me protecting the strongest person on our team is much better.
You have cancer.
