PSA: Lux is NOT overpowered
Stop complaining about her. She has received zero changes for a very long time and was never complained about before, but now she suddenly becomes op? No, that's not how it works. Learn how to dodge skillshots.

-E can be set to detonate the instant it lands -Passive got a 20% AP ratio -Snare now deals same damage/duration to secondary targets (used to be half) -Several mana cost reductions -E radius increased to 350 from 300 -Removed shield delay from W (used to have a 0.25s delay)
"No changes"
And her last changes was Patch 5.17. What's with all the Lux ruckus this late into the start of Season 6?
They started in patch 5.17 but were hidden amongst the juggernaut threads. They were there though.
-Frostfang giving 100% regen for 850 gold. -Thunderlord's -Accessible mana regen mastery
Yeah keep telling yourself that.
She has too much reward for being easy and safe too play.
She has a lot, but I don't think too much. I think Xerath is significantly harder to use but also brings significantly more damage and pick potential to the table. As long as there are harder champions that are harder to use/less reliable but give significantly more power, Lux should be ok.
She'll be a yoloqueue nightmare, but I think in more organized play, she'll be used less often.

She got a pretty big buff with the ap ratio to her passive and also the ability to detonate e earlier, made her alot easier to play and do more damage
That and power creep... a laner doesn't necessarily need to be buffed if all of the other laners get nerfed over a period of time
She's been OP for the last six months.
There's nothing "suddenly" about it.

People have been complaining since her first set of buffs, in fact, people were already complaining before those changes made it to even pbe itself, let alone live.
She would be fine if her ult wasn't up every 30 seconds. Seriously, that's ridiculous for an ability with that much damage and range.
Actually, that is how it works
And Lux is OP right now.
Maybe next time you guys whine for lower mana costs, you'll think about the implications
Nah, she's just got really decent Base Ratios and doesn't need MUCH ap to scale into the higher levels of damage. That's all they're whining about. In games lasting 20-25 minutes, a High-damage Early Champion shows more than a Lategame Bursting Damage dealer.
Is she OP? Not really, no.
Is she a bit too strong for her safety? Yes, I believe so.
Lux main.Normal comment.
