Losing Ranked

I know what everyone is going to say, I am blaming my team and I need to focus on my mistakes and be positive and I will win. That is just not the case. I constantly lose ranked games. I have won one game in the past seven or so. A good amount of those had someone go AFK, every one of the losses there is a lane that feeds an insane amount of kills and it gets to the point where the fed enemy can literally one hit any one of us. I win my lane, or at least I don't feed, in over 90% of my games. I understand that kills and winning lane is not everything but it is a start. I can't get back to Silver because of games like this. Another thing I looked up, my last game the people I played with were all bronze, on losing streaks, and had very few games where they were positive and I went against almost all silvers, on win streaks, and who crush in their games. I have had about three or four games where I get someone who says, "I don't care about this game", "I don't care if we lose", "This is my smurf so I don't really care if we win". I can't be expected to carry 1 v 5 because that just simply can't happen when 4 of them are outrageously fed and can one hit me. I roam, I play every position in the game, I switch with people when they want the role I have because they are more comfortable with it, and I always start out the game with positive thoughts and I don't tilt or get upset when people make mistakes or give early kills. I get upset when people keep making the same mistakes, play for themselves, or just simply don't understand what they are doing or who they are playing. I also get no win streaks like a lot of people seem to get. I will win one game very rarely and then go right back to losing. I was in Bronze 1 for months going up and down and finally I got demoted and kept the losing streak and now I am sitting at 25 lp in Bronze 2. I was put into Silver 5 last season right from my provisionals and I was put into Bronze 3 this year and I can't get back to Silver. I take breaks after a few losses so I don't tilt and I always start new games with hopes of winning. I don't care what anyone says, having a positive attitude will not win games.

It is quite easy to get out of lower Elo if you are good enough with your champions. The likelihood of you and your opponents having bad players and afks is equal and the likelihood of getting bad players or afks again is also low and diminishes with each successive game.

I looked at your stats. You do play consistent, but probably not consistent enough to carry a bad team and that is why you will lose some games that are winnable.

Things I noticed

  • You play too many roles - play only 2 in ranked
  • You play too many champions - play 2 per role
  • Your CS is low when you lane
  • Support is hard to climb out of with lower Elo players

Focus more on objectives, less on teammates, and less on kills. People will feed in bronze (it happens), but if you are significantly better than your peers you will win more than you lose.

I am a Gold I player with a secondary as support. I can't stand supporting Silver or lower players because they don't know how to lane at all int he bottom lane. They either play hyper aggressive and die a lot, or they never follow up with engages, or they just are farm bots (and stink at farming).

This is because they do not recognize when champions power spike and have a hard time recognizing when they are "behind" or "ahead". So they don't know what is a good fight or a bad fight.

I normally support with Leona or Sona, but if I know I am supporting an ADC that is not that good I just take Brand in the bot lane or Lux. That way I can just do enough damage to be self reliant and I can zone the enemy laners off farm. I have been doing this on my smurf in silver with higher success than playing traditional supports.

My one smurf placed in Mid Silver this year and My main account placed in Bronze I. I had no issues getting both accounts into gold, but I could carry games on my own if I needed.

You lost me at "Back to silver". You are where you deserve to be either that or you have not played enough games to get to your rightful elo :)

For every game that this happens to you if you play often enough this will happen to your opposition. In fact it will happen to your opposition more.

Assuming that 1 of the 9 players will feed or go afk your team has a 4/9 chance of it happening to them while the other team has a 5/9 chance.

If you play enough games it will all even out eventually.

I played two more games. I went Renekton top and I did very well for myself but as usual the rest of my team fed and gave up turrets. I didn't give up hope and kept doing my thing. I finally was able to take charge and do the shot calling and I initiated team fights and I was one of the biggest carries on my team and we won. Second game, I was doing well for myself again. I was Renekton and had constant pressure on the top lane, stopped the enemy from farming, and got a double kill early game. I was slowly taking the turret and doing well but of course my team was, once again feeding. My Annie had fed the LeBlanc 10-1. If you are familiar with the game you can understand that a fed LeBlanc is very hard to deal with. I could do nothing because by this point all the turrets were pushed to our base so they all went top, killed me, and pushed the turrets. On top of all of that our jungler went AFK. In my last 10 games I would be willing to bet that 40-50% had an AFK on my team. Out of the 130+ ranked games I have played this season I have played against maybe one or two teams with an AFK player.
