How do I get a ranked team that doesn't feed or troll me all game?

I'm bronze 4. I'm a pretty good player, all of my friends irl are diamond/gold and I play with them and kick their ass all the time. This season, i have over 300 ranked games played, 151 wins and 180 losses. The only way I've won a game so far this season is if I personally carry the entire game, and I can't help but feeling like this is complete bullshit. Every single game without a doubt i get a teammate (sometimes an entire team) that feeds consistently through out the whole game, does no damage, and can't cs at all. I can't do anything against their whole entire team by myself, and finding a duo partner is nearly impossible when every single person I play with acts like it's their first game.
I'm writing this because I need to blow off some steam from a game I just left. Our first pick instantly locks in Yasuo and doesn't call a lane at all, so I assume he's mid and i pick yorick top against their Teemo. Our adc instantly, without anyone else in the lobby saying anything, says I'm support and our last pick can go mid. I'm sitting here ready to blow out my mind, trying to tell these 12 year old kids that some how have a computer to play this game that I'm going top, or mid if yasuo is going top. But of course, the game starts, and our annie goes mid and the entire team thinks me supporting as yorick is a great idea.
I just need to know what I have to do to get a team that isn't completely retarded. I'm a good player, what else do I need to get to a higher elo? It's complete bullshit that I have to have the slim chance of luck my team doesn't suck in order to get a higher rank.

well clearly you arent that good because you wouldnt have been placed there

So you beat your diamond friends on a regular basis but you can't carry yourself out of bronze?

I smell bullshit lmao

it's either that your friends got boosted and are actually not diamond level or you are lying lmao

My smurf was placed in Bronze 4 from decaying over a full year since the end of season 3, and I'm only but a diamond 5, the worst of diamonds, and I manage to climbed to silver in less than 2 weeks.

You can beat your diamond friends but you can't carry bronze. That's just bullshit

Well here is a couple ideas:

  1. In champ select try to get everyone to call out their roles (it's no good to just assume). If they do not call their role try going with a flexible pick that can play two or more roles.
  2. Try to be positive. A lot of people I play with are usually on the brink of snapping, so instead of making aggressive/passive aggressive comments try making very subtle constructive comments/coddle them. For example someone is dying a lot from overextending: Wrong- Jesus god! Stop dying you dumb feeder! Also wrong- If you could ward and stop dying to the jungler that'd be great. Funny thing is I cant think of anything right off the top of my head, but usually include something good about the game and tell them to hang in there.
  3. You could post on the forums to look for a duo partner.
  4. ^Always stay positive

Based off of your recent games, only 1 had a good KDA. The rest were horrid. I dont think it was your team buddy.

You go team ranked with friends. You then proceed to improve a lot that way, then come back to solo queue, do a few 10/20 games with your current MMR, make it raise because you have improved, and tadah, your teammates are now better even when they're in the same league than before.

protip: you are a bronze rager. think that crap teams don't happen in silver? THEY HAPPEN IN DIAMOND AND PLAT. Just played a game where ADC thinks that red and bot lane farm > baron and mid inhib. There's nothing you can do for guys like that. All I said at the end was "baron is a bigger objective than red." Didn't say anything else. That keeps your attitude up. #1 tip for climbing is have a better attitude.

Don't play ranked. Biggest mistake of my life.

P.S. I played ranked right when I reached level 30. Bronze IV

well theres always some games that are unwinnable.. but if u lose more than u win after 300 games then ur contributing to the loss somehow.. u need to find that reason and then improve.. often its npt that hard like do u watch lcs? u could mute all from beginning of game.. stuff like that..

Find a champ you can carry with. That's as easy as it gets. I've been spamming Rek'Sai and have won 21 of 27 with an average KDA of 5.35/1 with 60% kill participation. Find something you're good at and stick with it until you win out. Also try to spread the love around when it comes to getting kills. Biggest issue I see in games is that even when I am versus somebody who is fed, they're usually the ONLY fed person. So the rest of the team is easy to kill. You want to make sure you spread the assists and kills around. Sometimes getting 2 assists in a row is better than just having 11 kills of 14. Focus on getting EVERYBODY fed, instead of just yourself.

Ya like people have said just find a champion that you can roll your way through bronze with. Back in my bronze days I spammed Volibear and basically won games by baiting people with his passive. Honestly this worked till like Silver 3.

A lot of people said to find a duo que partner, I'll que up with you. Also, starting a GD, bronzie team wouldn't be a bad idea, I would also join that.

DrNova5/19/2015, 5:52:36 PM1 votes

Its all luck. You just hope you get a good run more often then you get a bad run. Some people get a lucky bunch of teams and get out oof the pit quickly, some get a bad streak of luck and get bad teams.

The problem is the rating system based soley off of wins. If you get a streak of bad teams, it drops your rank, which gives you higher odds for bad teams. Self sustaining.

First step of getting out of bronze is realizing that being there is only your own fault

in bronze people think that getting as many kills wins the game. Nope. Objective control, split pushing, knowing when to roam, rotating, pushing the lane before going to roam, buying wards when you're not a support, etc.

If you're 15/0 and do none of those things then you aren't carrying

a 0/4 lux who does all those things, she's carrying
