@Riot, Question about the removal of spell vamp and the item changes in general

So Riot claims that spell vamp was removed. Which I am fine with, but if your going to remove it, then it needs to be removed.

That being said, why was item 3812 left untouched? Its basically an AD-only spell vamp item. Did Riot mean to say that only magic based spell vamp was removed? Did they mean that only items with the word "spell vamp" would be removed? I could count the number of times I saw spell vamp items this past week in my games on a single hand. I couldn't tell you the number of times I saw death's dance.

Considering the other item changes, why is Riot so heavily favoring AD? None of the AD item changes had huge trade offs or had their stats gutted for some pretty useless passives. I don't know about you, but I couldn't imagine how bad the AD items would be if they were treated similarly.

Okay spell vamp was on 2 items item 3145 and item 3152. Deaths Dance was designed to let AD casters get healing off of there skills that do not apply on hit effects. Spell vamp was a stat that really was only used effectively by 2 champions and was a mandatory part of there build. Vlad has been reworked and Akali really won't miss the spell vamp as the finished Hextech still gives the flat heal off all damage. Over all it was an unnecessary thing to keep in the game. AP and AD are not meant to be mirror images of each other. AD has Crit and Life Steal. AP has more stat based buffs.
