Wins and Losses

I'm sure this has been made but I can't find it. Does anyone feel like Riot is just like, "you know, you haven't lost in a bit, here are some losses to make you feel human" I mean I was just in a game where the entire enemy team wasn't doing good, even Yi, and my team was doing okay, and all of a sudden the game just ends and their entire enemy team acts like they're the bee's knees and trashtalking us into the ground and all I can think is, "what did I even do wrong?"

Is there just an algorithm that says after x amount of wins you are hereby required to go on a losing streak of 3-5 games? (my match histories in the past normally consist of 5-7 wins and then 3-5 losses with barely any anomalies) This is more of a curiosity post than a rant as it would be hilarious to find out if it's true.

I will agree that the matchmaking is substantially worse than last season, but there are also a good deal fewer players right now than last season. (which really isn't helping) You'd think with the extra ranks that people would be more accurately placed, but that too seems pointless.

The matchmaking is horrendous and has been for seasons, I just think it's gotten worse over time..
